ILSAC membership
The Council’s members are drawn from relevant government and private sector bodies, including private legal practice in Australia, legal education institutions, legal professional bodies and other legal and related services areas. Government representatives are drawn from relevant government departments and agencies.
Members are appointed by the Attorney-General for Australia and serve in a voluntary capacity and do not receive any remuneration or sitting fees.
ILSAC Chairman, Mr Tim Bugg, Director, Dobson Mitchell & Allport Lawyers, Hobart, was appointed on 1 July 2009 for a four year term concluding on 30 June 2013.
